Five of Cups
DAY 76 OF 78. Monday, September 28, 2026
grief, loss, regret, focusing on what was lost
The loss is real and grief is the honest response to it; you do not have to rush past it. But when you are ready to turn around, there are still two cups standing.
THE CARD
Five of Cups, upright and reversed.
The reading above was written for this draw. These are the card's standing meanings, the ground it always carries.
Upright drawn
grief, loss, regret, focusing on what was lost
The loss is real and grief is the honest response to it; you do not have to rush past it. But when you are ready to turn around, there are still two cups standing.
Reversed
moving forward, processing grief, acceptance
Something in the grief is beginning to loosen its grip, and the cups still standing are becoming visible again. This is not a betrayal of what you lost; it is what comes after.
