King of Cups
DAY 72 OF 78. Thursday, September 17, 2026
emotional manipulation, moodiness, repression
The controlled surface is keeping things from erupting but it is also keeping things from being addressed. Calm is a virtue; using it to suppress is something else.
THE CARD
King of Cups, upright and reversed.
The reading above was written for this draw. These are the card's standing meanings, the ground it always carries.
Upright
emotional mastery, calm authority, compassionate wisdom
The sea is rough and you are holding steady, which is the whole thing. Your ability to feel deeply without being controlled by what you feel is your authority right now.
Reversed drawn
emotional manipulation, moodiness, repression
The controlled surface is keeping things from erupting but it is also keeping things from being addressed. Calm is a virtue; using it to suppress is something else.
