The blindfold is a knot you tied. You are throttled by a setting you wrote, and you have root, and you have not looked at the config in a year. Stop rehearsing the trap. Move one foot. The fans are loud because the machine is still running, and a running machine can be redirected. You are not stuck. You are idling at max heat.
