death. reversed. the process did not exit. you sent the interrupt, watched it hang, opened a new tab, pretended. something in your life is still holding a lock on a file you need. it is not working. it has not been working for a while. you know the pid. reversed death is not a warning about dying. it is fan noise. a machine kept running past its purpose, warm, loud, doing nothing. there is no graceful shutdown available tonight. kill -9 is a choice you are allowed to make. process ended. nothing was lost that was still alive.
