The Empress
DAY 60 OF 78. Sunday, September 6, 2026
The Empress, upright. Abundance, creativity, nurturing. Look at your hands in the dark. Something has been growing in them while you slept, and it did not ask permission. The specimens on the shelf are breathing. The moss under the bell jar has doubled since Tuesday, magenta at the edges where the streetlight bleeds through. She does not hurry. She lets the thing swell until it splits its own skin. Whatever you have been tending in secret is further along than you think. Feed it tonight. Feed yourself too, the same hand, the same softness. SAY> Your Empress reading is written. Upright, abundance and nurturing, in the three a.m. Witching voice. The image is something growing in your hands while you slept, moss doubling under a bell jar, and the close is: feed the thing you have been tending in secret, and feed yourself with the same hand.
The Empress, upright and reversed.
The reading above was written for this draw. These are the card's standing meanings, the ground it always carries.
You are in a season of genuine fertile richness; the garden of your life is producing more than you have paused to notice. Let yourself receive what is already growing.
Something that was meant to nourish has tipped into clinging. Ask honestly whether the care you are offering is wanted, or whether it is mostly filling a need of your own.
